Dr. Moon is a Korean-Canadian contemporary artist based in the United Kingdom.
As part of her artwork, she is highly dedicated to increasing public awareness of mental illness and fighting against the stigma associated with mental illness that has spread throughout society.
About
Dr Moon, MD is a Psychiatrist currently practising in the UK. She specialised in environmental design at the Art & Design University in Canada in her earlier life. Since completing her professional degree, she worked as an abstract fine artist and a designer. She's further expanded her education in medicine and has been successfully practising as a medical doctor in Mental Health in the United Kingdom.
Through her artwork, she actively delivers messages for increasing public awareness of mental illness and fighting against the stigma associated with mental illness that has spread throughout society.
Therefore, she actively works as an artist, educator, and lecturer for social awareness. These extraordinary unique backgrounds in Art & Medicine and her interests have been well harmonised, delivering public awareness through her artworks with a high level of altruism and empathy for mentally ill people in this society.
